An Online Marketing Firm Can Help Spider-Man

By Rob Sutter

As the superhero who keeps the "with great power comes great responsibility" mantra in mind, Peter Parker has made an impact as Spider-Man. Always heroic yet somewhat sarcastic, he has been able to draw a bit of a mixed reaction in New York City. While many see him as the hero they need, there are those who are less than pleased to see him such as the head of the Daily Bugle, J. Jonah Jameson. For those who don't favor him as much, Spider-Man could employ the help of an online marketing firm.

Most of the spite directed at Spider-Man is because of one source in particular: the Daily Bugle. Headed by J. Jonah Jameson, the man has had it out for the web-spinning superhero ever since he made his first appearance. The strangest thing about this sour attitude Jameson possesses is that there doesn't seem to a source for it. It just seems like Jameson dislikes having him around and is willing to do anything to drive him away, even if it means continuously publishing stories that ruin his name.

It's not like Spider-Man has to take this kind of behavior, though. While Parker shouldn't just barge into the building and threaten Jameson's life, he can combat the printed word with social media. Social media agencies like fishbat utilize platforms like Twitter and Facebook on a constant basis, such as to share out posts. This is one online marketing firm that could be utilized to help Parker become much less hated by certain groups in the city. How would be go about it, though?

Those who frequent Facebook could share posts out constantly but there must be posts to share out first. Parker has to take advantage of his new Facebook page praising Spider-Man by directing as much attention as possible. Interest can be kept by making posts which people can easily comment on. A simple question can be something like, "what would you do if you could hang out with Spidey for a day?" The response that such a little question can elicit could be staggering.

Spider-Man has gained a bit of popularity, to say the least, but even then he has to deal with a great amount of critique. Even when he's fighting crime in the bug suit, Parker can't seem to silence those who believe him to be a menace. It's not like he's helpless on the issue, though, since he can get quite a bit of help from an online marketing firm. Utilizing simple yet effective tactics, Spidey might just be able to convert the naysayers to admirers.
