Stomach ulcers. Since painkilling drugs can greatly irritate the inner lining of the stomach, they are notorious for causing ulcers to develop. The presence of stomach ulcers can leave you with a sharp belly pain. Such can be experienced when you're hungry and after having a meal, too.
